JD Taylor is a self taught harmonica player and blues performer, from Brownsville, TN, currently on the Vizztone Record label. He is a life-long blues lover but didn’t start his musical journey with the harmonica until the age of 30 years old. His passion and natural ability have led to numerous live performances with Best Blues, Country and Rockabilly artists in the business like Carl Perkins, Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson , Kid Rock, Shannon Lawson, James Otto, RL Burnside, Big Jack Johnson and Honey Boy Edwards, along with contributions to successful albums, and his own solo projects.

He’ll tell you that if someone told him at the start, that he’d be an accomplished harmonica player, performer and custom harmonica builder with three albums under his belt by the time he was 50 years old, he would have laughed at the notion.
