STACY BROOKS

Stacy was dubbed DC’s Queen of the Blues by her musical peers in Washington DC when she decided to dive deep into the Blues. Washington DC may not be known as a Blues Town but ask anyone in Chicago, Memphis, Atlanta and Europe when coming to DC, you must see Stacy Brooks. The Stacy Brooks Band won the DC Blues Battle of the Bands and competed in the 30th Annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis, in 2014. The Stacy Brooks Band competed and won The Battle of The Bands at The Sedalia Blues Festival in Big Island Virginia.

Stacy is a multi award nominated artist with nominations for 2007 for New Artist of the Year, in 2009 for her Live @ the Surf Club CD for Best Blues Recording, in 2011 for Love, Peace & The Blues for Best Blues Recording, in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 Female Blues Vocalist all from the Washington Area Music Association.
