STACY “GROOVE GIRL” NORRIS
Stacy “Groove Girl” Norris is a 18 year old Chicago-based drummer. She is a 2018 Chicago Music Award recipient in the most talented teen category (as the drummer for the Instinct) and a recent Intercontinental Music Award recipient with MudCity Blu in 2020.
She has played at major venues and festivals throughout the U.S. in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio, Ontario (Canada), and internationally in other projects. She has participated in previous International Blues Challenges in the youth category in 2018, 2019, and 2020. She also received the “Hit Like A Girl” global drum contest special “Aspire” award in 2020. Even though she plays many different genres, her love is for the blues.
